【摘要】:Thistestmethodcoverstwoproceduresfordeterminingtheshearstabilityoflubricatinggreaseinthepresenceofwater(wetshearstability)byafullscalegreaseworkerorarollstabilitytestapparatus.Bothprocedurescanbeusedtodeterminetherelativewetshearstabilityofgreases,buttheresultsbetweenproceduresarenotdirectlycomparable.Thistestmethodisalsoknownasthewaterstabilitytest.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard;Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
