【摘要】:ThisBritishStandardgivesrecommendationsfortherepair,overhaul,reclamationandmodificationofcertifiedelectricalapparatusintendedforuseinminessusceptibletofiredamp(definedas"GroupI"apparatusintheexplosionprotectionconceptstandardBSEN50014:1998).Maintenanceisnotcovered,otherthanwherethiscannotbedissociatedfromrepairandoverhaul.Itdoesnotgiveadviceontheuseofelectricalapparatusorthepreventionofanyhazardsotherthanignitionofanexplosiveatmosphere.Similarly,itdoesnotgiveadviceoncableentrysystemswhichmayrequirerenewalwhentheapparatusisre-installed.NOTE1Recommendationsregardingroutinemaintenance,andtheselectionandinstallationofintrinsicallysafeelectricalapparatusforuseinpotentiallyexplosiveatmospheresinmines,aregiveninBS6704.NOTE2Thecontractbetweentheuserandtherepairerwillneedtoaddressothersafety-relatedmattersbeyondthescopeofthisdocument,e.g.preventionofelectricshock,electricalprotection(overload,shortcircuit,earthleakage)andelectrical/mechanicalinterlocking.Clauses4to9givegeneralrecommendationsapplicabletopersonsinvolvedintherepairand/oroverhaulofelectricalapparatusintendedforuseinpotentiallyexplosiveatmospheresfoundincoalmines.TheyalsoidentifycertainspecificresponsibilitiesundertheHealthandSafetyatWorketc.Act1974[6]asapplicabletothosewhoarelikelytobeconcernedwiththerepairofcertifiedapparatus.Clauses10to15coverthoseaspectsofrepairandoverhaulwhicharecommontoallexplosionprotectedapparatus.Clauses16to18giverecommendationsapplicabletospecifictypesofexplosionprotectedapparatus.Thisstandardexcludesapparatushavingthefollowingformsofprotection,whichisgenerallyconsideredirreparable:oilimmersion"o";pressurized"p";powderfilling"q";andencapsulation"m".NOTE3ApparatuswhichcontainsoilisinstalledinBritishmines,butsuchequipmentshouldberepairedinaccordancewiththisstandardandthat,towhichitwascertified.
